Trauma Therapy

At The Cabin Clinic, our trauma therapy services are designed to help you move from surviving to truly living. Trauma can affect the mind, body, and nervous system in lasting ways—but with the right support, healing is absolutely possible.

Our therapists draw from evidence-based and integrative modalities to meet you where you are, creating a safe and compassionate space to explore your experiences and rebuild a sense of safety, connection, and self-trust.

Our approaches may include:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): Helps the brain process and release painful memories so they no longer feel overwhelming.

  • Somatic and Body-Based Therapies: Focus on calming the nervous system and restoring a sense of balance through awareness of physical sensations.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Parts Work: Guides you in understanding and healing the different parts of yourself that developed to protect you from pain.

  • Cognitive and Mindfulness-Based Therapies: Strengthen emotional regulation, self-compassion, and insight into how trauma affects your thoughts and behaviours.

  • Attachment-Focused and Relational Therapy: Builds safety and trust in the therapeutic relationship to repair the impact of past relational wounds.

Whether you are coping with childhood trauma, relational trauma, medical trauma, or a single distressing event, our trauma-informed clinicians will help you reconnect with your body, reclaim your story, and restore your inner resilience.

You deserve to feel safe in your mind and body again—and we’re here to help you get there.
